Tudor House project

This dollhouse was sold, but a similar dollhouse can be made to order I happily accept commissions for this style, or a period style of your choosing.

The above Tudor house was my first miniature project, it's a six room hand carved reclaimed oak house, with a silver birch plywood core and Jacobean oak panelling, with a "weathered" oak exterior.

All internal doors are ledged and braced, while the front door and all windows have mortice and tenon joints. Each window opens and all panes are glass, with lead strip Tudor period detail.

The individual planked floorboards, stairs and spindles, beams and shelves are all constructed from solid oak.

The house has a fuse switch mains inlet (230v) and is fully fitted with a reduced voltage lighting system/integral isolating transformer.

Each ceiling and fire light can be individually switch controlled via the front console, which is neatly encased within the base of the house and is easily accessible via a discreet panel below the front door, (further photographs of any detail can be emailed at your request).

The ceiling lamps are incandescent.  Fireplaces are illuminated through an electrified reduced voltage soft glow circuit.

The house is ready for personilisation regarding interior fixtures and fittings.

The weight is approximately 50kg. Dimensions 36"L x 34"H x 21"W
